VetSCOPE Intermediate training: Level 1
This course covers the fundamentals of how to use VetSCOPE’s unique functions and processes. By building these skills you will learn how to operate the system most efficiently, save time and increase productivity.
VetSCOPE has many functions which can help you streamline the administrative processes of your practice. Unfortunately, if they aren’t operated correctly or if you are unaware of them you could be missing out on the vital assistance they offer. By understanding the different functions and processes available you can see which best suit your practice and how to correctly apply them.
What is not covered in this course:
- Full bank reconciliation process
- Full stocktake process
- Trial balance, balance sheet, profit and loss reports
- VAT reporting

Course programme:
This course will explore the following functions in VetSCOPE:
- Overview of how a database works
- Case management functions: client, animal, visits and calendar screens
- Accounts functions: accounts, stock and nominal screens
- Reports screen: client, suppliers, bank, stock and set up tabs
- General functions: price/codes and preferences
- Client Relationship Management (CRM): basic functions
- Creating useful reports
Training will be both theory based and hands-on and will use provided course materials.
The training facility is in an accessible location in Dublin city. Attendees will have access to a computer during training.
