A world first
VetSCOPE is proud to announce a world first as it is now possible to do your TB and Brucellosis testing using an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.
Using these inexpensive, widely available devices, you can download the herd details directly, along with useful information on the client, such as their address, phone numbers, account balance and last payment date.
As with the much more expensive handheld devices, all the testing information is displayed directly from the AHCS website, e.g. type of test, quantity of animals to be tested, the test IDs and much more.
Entering the Day 1 and Day 2 readings couldn't be simpler. Select the animal by entering the last few digits of the tag number, then enter the 'A' and 'B' readings. At this point, you can also enter a remark about the animal.
New animals may be entered once they have a valid tag number and this is checked on entry.
Tube codes are incremented automatically but the sequence can be easily changed if required.
When finishing Day 1 readings, any tags not tested may be marked down as 'Sold' or 'Deceased'.
When entering Day 2 readings, if more than one animal tests inconclusive/positive, you'll be asked if you wish to move the test readings to the Severe mode.
When Day 2 is complete, the results screen is displayed, showing the positive animals in red and the inconclusive animals in orange.
A pie chart makes the overall picture easy to understand. Reactor tags can be fitted and recorded for each animal.
